SPROUT Coach

About Me
Nice to meet you! I am Sarah Draeger.
I am a Positive Psychology Coach who gives you a helping hand with your personal and professional growth, finding your core, and your transition from a seed to a sprout and then into a proper plant.
Throughout my BA (Hons) and MSc (by research) in Psychology, the focus of my
studies has been on mental health, optimism, relationships, hope, satisfaction
Values, Trust, Social Identity, Resilience, Spirituality, and well-being. Ever
since my Master’s degree has exposed me to Applied Positive Psychology and
Coaching Psychology, I have spent uncountable hours studying human
thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and interactions between people.
My PhD in Psychology will be focusing on Values, Relationships, authenticity, mindset growth, self-awareness, motivation and values to find out how it influences well-being at home and at work.
I am a big believer in growth mindsets and happiness that comes from within. Inner wellbeing is not a fairy tale, it is very real! With individually tailored support and coaching strategies provided by me, I work together with my coachees towards their goals, whether it may be a career change, bettering their mental health, improving relationships or developing a more enjoyable work/study/life balance.
Please note that I am not a counsellor and that there is a difference between coaching and counselling. Coaching is not a clinical therapy, although it may feel like one. My aim is to guide you in your learning journey and finding the path for you that you feel happy walking on. The approach focuses on the positive side of life: traits and states (for example, gratitude and optimism) and experiences (for example, inspiration and happiness). We may not be able to eradicate your weakness(es), however, together we can develop more strengths or work on existing ones them which can help you flourish, grow, and finally live that life that you have been hoping for.
As a SPROUT Coach, I help people from all walks of life to overcome personal or professional barriers and tackle obstacles that look bigger than they may be. I support my coachees in solving their own problems by prompting questions, deep discussions and self-reflection rather than finding solutions for them and giving them advice that may or may not work For them! I have assisted coachees in their career transitions, dealing with internal or external conflicts, financial problems, managing relationships with their family, partner, friends, colleagues or community, and Other complex situations.
